Bajan Island ( English ; Russian Остров Баян Ostrow Bajan ) is an island off the Knox coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland .
Scientists of the 2nd Soviet Antarctic Expedition (1956–1958) named it. The other naming background is not stored. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia translated the Russian name into English in 1989.
