Bakary P. Camara

Bakary P. Camara († March 1978 ) was a politician in the West African state of Gambia .

In the parliamentary elections in 1972 Camara stood as a candidate for the National Convention Party (NCP) in the constituency of Bakau . As a political newcomer, he was able to win the constituency against his opponent and previous representative of the constituency from 1966 in the House of Representatives Abdoulie K. N'Jie ( PPP ).

Camara died in a traffic accident in March 1978 and was honored with a state ceremony .
