The Bakkafjörður is geologically a bay in the north of Iceland , even if they Fjord is called.
It is the easternmost arm of the Bakkaflói . The village of the same name is located on the east bank . The Norðausturvegur , road 85, runs along the west and south banks and is not yet completely asphalted here.
