Bakr bin Laden

Bakr bin Laden ( Arabic بكر بن محمد بن عوض بن لادن, DMG Bakr b. Muḥammad b. ʿAwaḍ b. Lādin ; * probably around 1948) is the head of the Saudi Binladin Group , one of the largest Saudi Arabian companies, and an older half-brother of Osama bin Laden . He is also the largest shareholder in the company with 23.8%.

Bakr bin Laden has been running the company since his older brother Salim bin Laden (1946–1988) died in an accident . At the same time, he is publicly perceived as the " patriarch " of the Bin Laden family.

After the Saudi King Salman ibn Abd al-Aziz founded an anti-corruption commission headed by his son, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman , it arrested eleven princes, four ministers, many ex-ministers and business people, including the head of the National Guard , Miteb Bin Abdullah , the Minister of Economics and Planning, Adel Fakeih , Bakr bin Laden and the billionaires al-Walid ibn Talal and Saleh Abdullah Kamel .
