Saleh Abdullah Camel
Saleh Abdullah Camel ( Arabic صالح عبد الله كامل, DMG Ṣāliḥ ʿAbd Allāh Kāmil ; * 1941 in Jeddah ; † May 18, 2020 ibid) was a Saudi Arabian entrepreneur .
Life
Kamel studied economics and founded the Saudi Arabian company Dallah Al-Baraka . He was chairman of the Islamic Development Bank . He owned, among other things, the tourist resort Durrat Al-Arus , north of Jeddah on the Red Sea and the media company Arab Radio and Television Network (ART). According to US Forbes magazine , Kamel was one of the richest Saudi Arabians. Kamel was married.
He was an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Aal-al -Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought in Jordan .
After King Salman ibn Abd al-Aziz founded an anti-corruption commission under the leadership of his son, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman , it arrested eleven princes, four ministers, many ex-ministers and business people, including al-Walid ibn Talal and Saleh Abdullah Kamel.
