Bakshev Ridge (English; Bulgarian Бакшев рид Bakschew rid ) is a narrow, rugged, rocky and in a southeast-northwest orientation 700 m long mountain ridge on Rugged Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . With a height of up to 239 m, it rises 0.66 km east of San Stefano Peak , 1.25 km west of Vund Point and 1.1 km northwest of Radev Point .
Spanish scientists mapped it in 1992, Bulgarian in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2006 after the Bulgarian Bishop Petar Bogdan Bakshev (1601–1674), a key figure in the Bulgarian liberation movement.
