The San Stefano Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Сан Стефано wrach San Stefano ) is with 256 m the highest mountain on Rugged Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises 3.48 km northeast of Benson Point , 4.17 km southeast of Cape Sheffield , 0.83 km south of Cherven Peak , 1.91 km west of Vund Point and 1.58 km northwest of Radev Point .
Spanish scientists mapped it in 1992, Bulgarian in 2009. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2006 after the town of San Stefano in connection with the Peace of San Stefano on March 3, 1878.
