from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Balasana ( Sanskrit बालासन IAST Bālāsana , German , child posture ' ) is a yoga exercise . The Sanskrit name is formed from the words bala ( Sanskrit बाल IAST Bālā , German ' child ' ) and Asana ( Sanskrit आसन IAST āsana , German ' seat ' or ' posture ' ).

Physical execution

The person performing the work sits on their knees, initially with the body upright. Then she bends forward vertebrae to vertebrae until her forehead hits the floor. The arms lie backwards parallel to the body with the palms up. There are different variants, one of which is with the arms stretched forward.
