The Balin Rocks are a group of reef rocks east of Signy Island in the Archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . They are located south of Balin Point in the entrance to Borge Bay .
The reef rocks were mapped and named between 1912 and 1913 by the two Norwegian whaling captains Petter Sørlle (1884–1933) and Hans Engelbert Borge (1873–1946). The exact naming background is not known.
