Balkan Cup 1931
The 2nd Balkan Cup was a competition for national football teams from countries in the Balkan region . It was held at the same time as the Balkan Cup 1929-31 in 1931 and is therefore more of an unofficial event. The games took place in Bulgaria's capital Sofia in September and October . In addition to the hosts, Yugoslavia and Turkey also took part in the tournament. Each team played each other once in group mode, so only three games took place. With the maximum yield of four points, Bulgaria was finally at the top, which should come in the Balkan Cup 1929-31 a little later as bottom of the table. The top scorer was Panchev from Bulgaria (three hits).
