Balkan Cup 1929–31

The 1st Balkan Cup was a competition for national football teams from countries in the Balkan region . It was held over three years from 1929 to 1931. The games took place in Romania , Greece , Bulgaria and Yugoslavia . These four countries also took part in the tournament, which was played in group mode. Each team played twice against each other - once at home and once away. Romania finally secured the title with five wins from six games and also provided the two top scorers Iuliu Bodola and Rudolf Wetzer (seven hits each).
