Balkan Cup

The Balkan Cup was a competition between 1929 and 1980 for national football teams in the Balkan region . Until 1948 the tournament was played in the league system, the tournaments 1973/1976 and 1977/1980 in the knockout system . The competition is not to be confused with the Balkan Cup for club teams, which was played from 1960 to 1994.
