Balkan Cup 1933
The 4th Balkan Cup was a competition for national football teams from countries in the Balkan region . The games took place in June 1933 in Romania's capital Bucharest . In addition to the hosts, Bulgaria , Yugoslavia and Greece also took part in the tournament , as in the previous year . Each team played once against each other in group mode, the schedule from the previous edition was adopted. With the maximum yield of six points, three wins and no clean sheet, Romania was ultimately at the top, which was the first Balkan Cup in 1929–31had decided for himself. Defending champion Bulgaria finished third with just one win. Top scorer were the Romanians Gheorghe Ciolac and Ștefan Dobay (four hits each).
