Balkan Cup 1932
The 3rd Balkan Cup was a competition for national football teams from countries in the Balkan region . The games took place in June and July 1932 in Yugoslavia's capital Belgrade . After the unofficial event in 1931 with three teams, including Turkey , Bulgaria , Romania and Greece took part in the tournament again in addition to the hosts . So there was the same line-up as in the first edition, which had been held for three years from 1929. Each team played once against each other in group mode. With the maximum yield of six points and three victories, Bulgaria was finally in the lead, which had already won the Balkan Cup in 1931. For Romania, the winner from 1929–31 , it was only enough for third place this time. The top scorer was the Yugoslav Živković (five goals).
