The temple complex has undergone considerable structural changes in recent times.

According to Gyurme Dorje, the main hall contains images of Padmasambhava , Hevajra , Jowo Shakyamuni , Vajrabhairava and Vajrapani , on the sides there are deities of the Sakayapa school; the covered side corridor in the courtyard is decorated with historical figures of the monastic series and King Tenpa Tsering von Derge, together with the well-known motifs of the four harmonious brothers (Thunpa Punzhi), the Indian sadhu leading an elephant (Atsara Langtri) and the Mongol, who leads a tiger (Sokpo Taktri).
