Monument on the mountain top

The passed passage Tomb of Ballagh Beg ( Irish An Bealach Beag - German  "the little pass" ) was on the summit of Slieve Donard ( Irish Sliabh Dónairt ) in County Down in Northern Ireland .

The Slieve Donard

At 849 m, Slieve Donard is the highest mountain in Northern Ireland and the seventh highest on the island. The cairn at its summit, once 40 m in diameter, is the remainder of the Passage Tombs, which was the tallest in the British Isles (now it is on Slieve Gullion in County Armagh ). The cairn has been severely dismantled and nothing has been preserved of the chamber.

A Bronze Age cairn is a few hundred meters away.
