Ballaké Sissoko (2009)

Ballaké Sissoko (* 1967 in Bamako ), together with Toumani Diabaté, is currently considered to be the most outstanding kora player in Africa. He lives in Bamako in Mali (West Africa) and is the son of Jeli Madi Sissoko, who had a worldwide success with the LP Ancient Strings . The son's CD New Ancient Strings was able to repeat this success.
