Balloon weather report
Balloon weather reports are weather reports that serve the meteorological preparation of balloon rides and are provided by the German Weather Service .
They are updated twice a day throughout the year, at 11:00 a.m. CEST / CET and at 9:00 p.m. CEST / CET and contain the following information:
- Sunrise and sunset
- weather condition
- Clouds and precipitation
- Ground view
- Temperature at sunrise, daily maximum temperature
- Thermals
- QNH
- Ground and altitude winds in direction and speed
- Barrier layers
- Zero degree limit
- Notes and warnings
- Outlook for the evening / morning
