Balmalloch is a megalithic complex of the Bargrennan Tomb type . It is located in the hamlet of Bellamore, north of Barrhill in the south of South Ayrshire in Scotland . Of the only 14 examples of this type, the majority are in Dumfries and Galloway. The name of the group, whose characteristic is a passage tomb in the round hill, was the White Cairn of Bargrennan.

Balmalloch is a disturbed and partly robbed round hill , which like many Bargrennan Tombs is located on a small hill. The not overgrown cairn, made of angular stones, is about 2.4 m high and 17.0 to 18.0 m in diameter. The edge is clearly recognizable, except in the east. There are two chambers, one in the east and the other in the north, but no entrances have been preserved. Another chamber could be located on the southwest side. Although there are several depressions in the surface of the hill, it has not been excavated.

Nearby is the Bargrennan Tomb Bencallen Hill .
