Pyrmont Agreement

The Pyrmont Agreement was an amalgamation of German business associations for the purpose of party financing , which had already taken place before the 1949 federal election . His goal was to support those parties that supported Ludwig Erhard's economic policy. The CDU accounted for almost two thirds of the total expenditure of DM 2 million. The initiative can be seen as the forerunner of the citizens' association .
