Friedrich Gottlob Fleischer
Friedrich Gottlob Fleischer (born January 14, 1722 in Koethen , † April 4, 1806 in Braunschweig ) was a German organist and composer .
Life
Fleischer probably received his musical training in Leipzig , possibly Johann Friedrich Doles was his teacher. In 1746 or 1747 he came to Braunschweig and became organist at the Martinikirche and the Aegidienkirche .
Fleischer was on friendly terms with the professors at the Carolinum and belonged to the circle around Gotthold Ephraim Lessing . He was the music teacher of the ducal family and thus also of Princess Anna Amalia .
