Balthasar Hüglin (mentioned 1661–1706 in Basel ) was a Swiss builder and sculptor.

Hüglin came from Binningen and became the municipal foreman in Basel in 1679. As a master builder, in 1697 he built two rooms in the Zunfthaus zum Schlüssel on Freie Strasse. As a stonemason and sculptor, he created the fountain of the weavers' guild in 1672 and the Caritas fountain in the city's orphanage in 1677. Hüglin also created busts of rulers for the house at Hebelstrasse 15 (around 1678), the statue of Abundantia (1681, now in the Basel Historical Museum ) and in 1706 the fountain of the Mentelinhof on Münsterplatz. The epitaph for Count Axel von Taupadel in St. Peter's Church (1671) is ascribed to him .
