The Baltic Beverages Holding AB (BBH) is based on the territory of the former Soviet Union, registered in Sweden brewery company headquartered in Stockholm and St. Petersburg .
history
Baltic Beverages Holding AB was founded in 1991 as a 50:50 joint venture between the Finnish Hartwall brewery and the Swedish Pripps brewery ( Pripps Blå beer brand ). In 1995 Pripps merged with the Norwegian brewery Ringnes to form Pripps Ringnes, in which the Norwegian conglomerate Orkla was initially the largest minority shareholder, then a majority and finally 100%. In 2000, Pripps Ringnes merged with the Danish brewery group Carlsberg AS , Hartwall was taken over by Scottish & Newcastle in 2002. Until 2008, BBH was a 50:50 joint venturefrom Carlsberg AS and Scottish & Newcastle, after the takeover of S&N by Carlsberg and Heineken , BBH is 100% owned by the Carlsberg Group. BBH is currently the majority owner of a total of 18 breweries, ten of them in Russia , three in Ukraine , four in the Baltic States and one in Kazakhstan . In 2005, Baltic Beverages Holding AB had 14,000 employees, net sales of 1.7 billion euros and an EBIT of 351 million euros.
