The Bank BSU Genossenschaft is a Swiss regional bank anchored in the Uster district . It was founded in 1836 as a savings bank for the Uster district and entered in the commercial register as a cooperative in 1892 under the new name Sparkasse des Uster . In 1914 it changed its name to Bezirkssparkasse Uster . In addition to its headquarters in Uster , the bank has had a branch in Dübendorf since 2001 and another in Volketswil since 2008 . In December 2011 the board of directors of Clientis Bezirkssparkasse Uster unanimously decided to leave the Clientis Group after around nine years and to position itself again as an independent bank with an independent profile in the regional market. On November 26th, 2012 Clientis Bezirkssparkasse Uster changed its name and entered the market as "Bank BSU - one like me".

Bank BSU's area of ​​activity has traditionally been in retail banking , mortgage lending , private banking and banking with small and medium-sized companies . It employs around 44 people and had total assets of 1,046.6 million Swiss francs at the end of 2019.

The BSU bank is affiliated to the RBA Holding as an independent regional bank .
