Volksbank Kurpfalz H + G Bank

The bank Hauptstrasse 46 is a listed building in Heidelberg .

In 1866 a fabric dealer bought the house from a master mason who was probably the owner of the house. In 1925 the building was converted by Franz Sales Kuhn for the commercial and commercial bank, with the interior being heavily modified. The facade was renovated in 2008. Today the building is the headquarters of Volksbank Kurpfalz .

The three-story house with a hipped roof is located in the western half of Hauptstrasse , the most important street in Heidelberg's old town , on the corner of Akademiestrasse. The building, which is based on the early Renaissance, has three window axes to the main street and nine riser-structured window axes to the Akademiestraße and is one of the rare representatives of the round arch style in Heidelberg's old town. A round arch frieze on the eaves completes the facade.
