The Banque Baring Brothers Sturdza SA , based in Geneva, is one to which the asset management and private banking specialized Swiss private bank . It employs around 65 people and manages around four billion Swiss francs in client assets.

The company was founded in 1969 as a Swiss subsidiary of Barings Bank . With the 1995 successful takeover of Barings Bank by the Dutch ING Groep , also went Banque Baring Brothers (Suisse) SA via owned by the ING Group, the Romanian Eric Sturdza, who chaired the Geneva branch since 1985, new 30 percent was involved. In 2005 ING sold its 70 percent stake in Eric Sturdza, whereupon the bank was renamed Banque Baring Brothers Sturdza SA and the management subsequently took a stake in the bank.
