Baptiste Desthieux (born June 8, 1985 ) is a French biathlete .
Baptiste Desthieux ran his first international junior world cup race in 2006 in Ridnaun . It has been used in the men's area since 2007. Desthieux's first European Cup race was in Cesana San Sicario , where he was 48th of an individual. In the period that followed, the Frenchman was mostly in the 15th to 30th place, rarely better or worse. At the Summer Biathlon World Championships in Haute-Maurienne in 2008 , he finished eleventh in the sprint and 18th in the pursuit of the cross-country competitions. The next major event was the 2009 European Biathlon Championships in Ufa . There Desthieux came in 42nd in the sprint and 37th in the pursuit.
