Bar rakib
Bar-Rakib was from 733 BC. King of Sam'al ( Zincirli , Turkey ). He was the son of Panam-muwa II and was by Tukulti-apil-Ešarra III. put on the throne. The length of his reign is not known, but since he built numerous buildings and left monuments with inscriptions , it must have been long enough. These documents tell, among other things, about his family history, from which it is known that his grandfather Panam-muwa I was murdered as part of a family feud.
