Anthony Sellier

Anthony Sellier (born November 13, 1950 in Mt. Lambert ) is a cycling trainer and former cyclist from Trinidad and Tobago .

Anthony Sellier took part in the Olympic Games twice. In 1972 he started in three disciplines at the Olympic Games in Munich , he gave up in road racing and with Patrick Gellineau , Clive Saney and Vernon Stauble he was eliminated in the team pursuit in the first round. In the 100-kilometer team time trial, the team from Trinidad and Tobago finished 29th out of 36 teams with the same line-up. In 1976 in Montreal Sellier started in the 1000-meter time trial and finished 20th. In the same year he won the bronze medal in the 1000-meter time trial at the Pan-American track championships .

In 2016 Sellier was named Trainer of the Year (2015 and 2016) by the Trinidad & Tobago Cycling Federation . Sellier coaches Nicholas Paul , among others , who won three medals as a junior at the 2016 Pan-American Track Championships.

Anthony Sellier's son, Christopher , was also an active cyclist until 2012.
