Patrick Gellineau

Patrick "Pat" Gellineau (born September 3, 1951 in Port of Spain ) is an American cyclist .

In 1972 Patrick Gellineau, national champion of his native Trinidad and Tobago, started at the Olympic Games in Munich in three disciplines, in road races (without placing) and with Clive Saney , Anthony Sellier and Vernon Stauble in the team pursuit (eliminated in the first round). In the 100-kilometer team time trial, the team from Trinidad and Tobago finished 29th out of 36 teams in the same composition.

After the Games, Gellineau moved to New York City and took US citizenship. After finishing his career in elite competitive sport, he continued to race successfully in the Masters class. In 2003 he was the American sprint champion in the age group 50-54, and at the Masters World Track Championships in 2006 he won the silver medal in the points race (55-59).
