Barbara Levick
Barbara Mary Levick (born June 21, 1931 in London ) is a British ancient historian .
Barbara Levick received her education from Brighton and Hove High School and St Hugh's College , Oxford . She was Lecturer in Classics from 1956 to 1959. From 1959 until her retirement in 1998, Levick was a Fellow of St Hilda's College, Oxford . Levick was also a librarian at St Hilda's College from 1956 to 1991. Levick is best known for numerous biographies of Roman emperors and conquerors.
