Barbara Mucha

Barbara Mucha (* 1968 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian publisher .

After graduating from high school in Klagenfurt, she studied law at the University of Vienna from 1987 to 1992 . In 1989 she acquired the title rights Die Mucha and Der Mucha and founded her publishing house Barbara Mucha Media GmbH . In 1990 the first issue of Die Mucha - Austria's toughest test magazine - appeared . In 1990 Mucha designed the family magazine BabyExpress , which has been published six times a year since 1992. The magazine Signora - the magazine for people in the prime of life - has existed since 1999, and in 2000 the diemucha.at website was launched to combat “customer frustration”, which even offered free legal advice in the early years.

The publisher has also been publishing the Austrian Business Woman magazine since 2007 - a business magazine specifically for women and, since 2015, the magazine “Die Mucha Schönheit”, the first issue of which was devoted to aesthetic medicine. The associated internet portal “perfectdoc.at” also went online in December 2015. In 2018 the first issue of "Age Care" was published, a magazine that deals with the complex of topics of care.

The publishing house Barbara Mucha Media also publishes various shopping guides and carries out mystery shopping tests commissioned by companies.
