The Wappachgraben is an approximately 6.4 km long right tributary of the Moder in the Bas-Rhin department of the Grand Est region of France .

The Wappachgraben rises in the northern Vosges on the eastern edge of Bouxwiller at an altitude of about 225  m . It initially flows in a north-easterly direction through allotment gardens, then turns more eastwards and crosses under the D 17 . Its course now leads through fields and meadows. It crosses the D 91 and shortly afterwards is fed on its right by the Weidbach coming from the Duntzenbruch . It now directs its course more to the northeast again, first crosses under the D 735 , then the railroad tracks and the D 919 , and finally flows into the Moder east of Obermodern at an altitude of 172  m .

Catchment area

The catchment area of ​​the Wappachgraben is 13.9 km² and consists of 35.40% agricultural area, 59.14% forest areas and 5.35% built-up areas.
