Barbara Somogyi (born August 9, 2002 in Jászberény ) is a Hungarian short tracker .

Career

Somogyi started the World Cup for the first time in Calgary in November 2018 and finished 35th over 500m and 31st place over 1500m. At the European Championships in Dordrecht in January 2019 , she won the bronze medal with the relay and achieved 32nd place in the all-around event. At the following Junior World Championships in Montreal she came in 40th place over 1500 m, 30th place over 1000 m and 15th place over 500 m. The following year she ran at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Lausanne on 14th place over 1000 m, tenth place over 500 m and fourth place with the mixed relay and at the Junior World Championships in Bormio on 16th place. Place over 500 m, 14th place over 1000 m and 11th place with the relay.
