Barbara Stieff

Barbara Stieff (* 1968 in Vienna ) is an Austrian children's book author, audio book author, painter, cultural mediator, speaker and director.

Training

Barbara Stieff trained as a graphic designer at Die Grafische in Vienna from 1987 to 1991 , attended the Krauss drama school in Vienna from 1994 to 1997 , the Hollywood Acting Workshop (HAW) in Los Angeles in 1995, and trained as a creativity trainer in creative writing at the IAK in 2000 Munich and graduated in 2007 from the Culture and Organization course at the Institute for Cultural Concepts and the University of Vienna .

Life

After a few years as a stage actress ( Theater in der Josefstadt , Kammerspiele Vienna ...) Barbara Stieff turned to writing and cultural mediation. The long-term cooperation with the ZOOM Children's Museum in Vienna resulted in the first works for children. Since 2013 the artist has also been showing her visual works.
