Barbara Winter

Barbara Winter (* 1944 ) is a former luge athlete from the GDR . It started for the BSG Wismut Karl-Marx-Stadt . Her greatest successes were the 4th place at the World Championships in Davos in 1965 behind her teammates Ortrun Enderlein , Petra Tierlich and Ilse Geisler and the runner-up title at the national championship of the GDR in 1964 in Friedrichroda behind Olympic champion Ortrun Enderlein and Olympic champion Ilse Geisler. She resigned from competitive sports in 1966.
