The Barbara Chapel is a chapel in the open field on the Scheibenberg between Zogelsdorf and Kühnring in Lower Austria .

description

The chapel, built in the 18th century, has a hexagonal floor plan, an apse bulge and a tiled domed roof. The small interior receives light from two wide oval windows and a rectangular door.

In the dome of the interior there is a fresco depicting the Trinity crowned by the Blessed Virgin.

Opposite the door is a statue of St. Barbara of Nicomedia in a round arch niche and below that a statue of St. Rosalia reclining .

The chapel is described in the Austrian art topography and is a listed building .
