The Barker Channel ( English ) is a tidal , 1 km long and less than 50 m wide passage on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It connects to the Vestfoldbergen the Prydz Bay with the Taynaya Bay .

The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named the canal in 1983 after the aquatic biologist Roger Barker († 1979), who worked at Davis Station in 1975 and also worked in this area.
