Baron Bergavenny

Baron Bergavenny (also Abergavenny ) was a hereditary British title of nobility , awarded six times in the Peerage of England and once in the Peerage of Great Britain .

The title refers to Abergavenny Castle at Abergavenny in Monmouthshire , South Wales. All awards were made through Writ of Summons as barony by writ, and all but the first of 1392 were due to procedural errors .
