Baron Delamere
Baron Delamere , of Vale Royal in the County of Chester , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
The territorial dedication refers to the barons' family seat at the time, Vale Royal Abbey in Cheshire.
Award
The title was bestowed on July 17, 1821, former MP Thomas Cholmondeley .
Today's title holder is his great-great-grandson Hugh Cholmondeley as 5th Baron.
