Earl of Aylesford
Earl of Aylesford , in the County of Kent , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of Great Britain .
Award
On October 19, 1714, the title of lawyer and politician Heneage Finch, 1st Baron Guernsey was created. He was a younger son of the 1st Earl of Nottingham . As early as March 15, 1703, he was given the subordinate title Baron Guernsey in the Peerage of England .
Today's title holder is his descendant Charles Finch-Knightley as 12th Earl.
