Baron Hollenden

Baron Hollenden , of Leigh in the County of Kent , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

The title was created on February 9, 1912 for the former Governor of the Bank of England Samuel Hope Morley .

His two sons, including the future 2nd Baron, added their surnames to Hope-Morley by Deed poll after the family of their paternal grandmother, Rebekah Hope .
