Baron May

Baron May , of Weybridge in the County of Surrey , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

The family seat of the barons is Gauthern's Barn near Sibford Gower in Oxfordshire .

Award

The title was created on July 15, 1935 for the financial expert Sir George May, 1st Baronet . On January 27, 1931, he was given the subordinate title Baronet , of the Eyot in the County of Surrey, in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom .

Today's title holder has been his great-grandson Jasper May, 4th Baron May , since 2006 .
