Baron Nathan

Baron Nathan , of Churt in the County of Surrey , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

The family home of the barons is Collyers Farm in Lickfold near Petworth in West Sussex .

Award

The title was created on June 28, 1940 for the Labor politician Harry Nathan . He was Under-Secretary of State in the War Department from 1945 to 1946 and Minister for Civil Aviation from 1946 to 1948.

Today's title holder has been his grandson Rupert Nathan as 3rd Baron since 2007 .
