Baron Pender

Baron Pender , of Porthcurnow in the County of Cornwall , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

The family seat of the barons is North Court near Tilmanstone in Kent .

Award

The title was created on June 12, 1937 for entrepreneur and former House of Commons John Denison-Pender . He was a director of the telecommunications company Cable & Wireless . The territorial dedication of the title refers to the landing point of many international submarine cables .

Today's title holder has been his great-grandson Henry John Denison-Pender as the 4th Baron since 2016 .
