Baron Revelstoke , of Membland in the County of Devon , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

The title was awarded on June 30, 1885 to the London banker Edward Baring . She was a director of the Bank of England , a senior partner at Barings Bank and a member of the Baring banking family .

Today's title holder has been his great-great-grandson Alexander Baring as the 7th Baron since 2012 .
