Niestedt is a district of the city of Dannenberg (Elbe) in the joint municipality of Elbtalaue in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .
The village is three kilometers southwest of the center of Dannenberg.
history
For the year 1848 it is stated that the Niestedt had 17 residential buildings in which 150 people lived. At the time the place was parish in the parish of St. Annen in Dannenberg, the school was in Prisser . On December 1, 1910, Niestedt as a forest district in the Dannenberg district had 82 inhabitants.
