Riekau is a district of the town of Dannenberg (Elbe) in the joint municipality of Elbtalaue in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .

The village is four kilometers southwest of the center of Dannenberg.

history

For the year 1848 it is stated that the Riekau sheep farm had a residential building in which seven residents lived. At the time Riekau was parish in Breselenz , where the school was located. On December 1, 1910, Riekau had ten residents as an estate district in the Dannenberg district .
