The Löhndorfer Loan Fund Association , based in Löhndorf , a current district of Sinzig in the Ahrweiler district in Rhineland-Palatinate , was founded on January 24, 1871.

The Löhndorfer Loan Fund Association , which was renamed Raiffeisenkasse Löhndorf , came to Volksbank Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler through various mergers in the course of the 20th century , from which today's Volksbank RheinAhrEifel emerged.
