The business area extends from the Rhine near Remagen to the south of the Vulkaneifel to Gillenfeld , from Koblenz and from the Middle Rhine near Mülheim-Kärlich via the Maifeld around Polch to the Hocheifel around the Hohe Acht and the Nürburgring .

The historical roots of Volksbank RheinAhrEifel eG go back to the year 1866, when the loan association for the mayor of Antweiler was founded.
Volksbank RheinAhrEifel eG was created in 2002 through the merger of Volksbank Rhein-Ahr with Volksbank Vulkaneifel. The cooperative is based in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler , and the administrative headquarters are in Mayen .
In 2016, Volksbank RheinAhrEifel eG merged with Raiffeisenbank Mittelrhein eG and in 2017 with Volksbank Mülheim-Kärlich eG. The name of the bank, the seat of the cooperative and the administrative seat were retained.
In 2019, Volksbank RheinAhrEifel eG merged with Volksbank Koblenz Mittelrhein eG. The name was retained, the headquarters of the cooperative changed to Koblenz. The administrative offices are in Bad Neuenahr and Mayen.

Volksbank RheinAhrEifel eG has divided its business area into the regional markets of Ahr / Brohltal , Eifel , Mayen / Rhein and Koblenz-MittelrheinMosel. Further advisory offices are located in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler and Daun. Geno Immobilien GmbH mainly deals with the sale and brokerage of real estate as well as the marketing of building land.
